DUST Search - Why Hate On Respecs?

i personally want a respec so i can base my rentire fit around nova knives, which will take at the very least another 2-3 months for me now. Nova Knives are not OP, i can promise you that. also, no i didn't go callogi or any crap like that. i put my skills all over the place, and went proto in scrambler rifles the core flaylock, but i stopped using the flaylock once i saw how OP it was. now i have like 3 million sp into stuff i never use.

i'm just saying try to look it from a different perspective, before hating on those who aren't happy where they are now. yes you will have FoTM, but in the end this game is about having fun, and the minute that stops, people are going to walk away, and they have nothing to stop them, since it's FREE.

as i said i already know no more respecs(as of yet) but when you see another respec thread, just please don't be so harsh to everyone who wants a respec, because at the very least, it could spice up the game and bring more people back in. kind of like a second( or third lol) chance to start over.

The only reasoning any ever uses is this assumption that any and all adjustments to the game will always completely ruin at least one playstyle and render everyone who used it useless.

Call me too much of an optimist, but that seems overly pessimistic to me. I think the changes we've seen recently in how they're going about their business indicate an improvement in their designs and balancing, especially with how they're improving vehicle mechanics.

Fact of the matter is I don't care about FOTM what I want is the chance to reallocate my SP because CCP have forced me into a play style. I want to be amarrian HAV but I cant so I am forced to pick something else amarrian..... now when the HAV do come out, god only know how long it will take, I am 4 mill SP specced into Dropsuits I never wanted to use in the first place.
